Cosmos has hosted many mass events: Youth and Students Festival, TV shows Morning Star, The Song of The Year, competition Crystal Castle; casting of TV project National Artist in 2004, and shooting of a new serial In Tango Rhythm (feat. Natalia Oreiro).

The hotel has received such notable guests as Joe Dassin, Alla Pugacheva, Garry Kasparov, and others. At present the place attracts Russian and foreign tourists, business travelers and visitors of various exhibitions.

The Hotel Cosmos has become a prize-winner in many competitions in hotel business. Among the recent achievements is a diploma "For Contribution to the Development of International Tourism in Moscow", 1998.
