The Salyut Hotel in Moscow boasts its unrivaled location in one of the most ecologically clean and green areas of the capital, on the territory of the metropolitan district called "Toparevo". Nowadays the Salute is a modern 24-storied building situated on the crossing of Leningradskiy and Vernadskiy prospects.
At the end of 60-s and the beginning of the 70-s a significant part of "Toparevo" was expanded and extended as a result of which the fork of the two important city's highways appeared. Here in 1970 the comfortable Hotel "Salyut" designed in the style typical of the soviet times was built.
The Salyut Hotel disposes 1001 single and double rooms permitting to accommodate 1640 guests simultaneously. In the hotel there are three room categories: business class, upgraded and standard. Among the accommodations of upgraded category there are rooms for physically challanged people. All the rooms are complete with comfortable furniture, colour TV-sets, telephones with direct inter-city and international dialing, there are also rooms equipped with air conditioners and refrigerators.
The Hotel Salyut, Moscow was constructed due to the Olympics in 1980, and originally intended to receive foreign guests. The designers constructed the building in accordance with international quality standards since high demands were made to the interior and exterior finish of the hotel. Presently, this 24-storey hotel receives tourists, sportsmen, travelers on business. The hotel is often chosen by participants of festivals and competitions. Since its foundation, the Hotel Salyut has got numerous awards for high service quality.

In case that there are no rooms available in other hotels, the Hotel Salyut, Moscow is a real boon for those who come to the capital with an urgent visit. 1001 rooms of the hotel can accommodate up to 1640 people at the same time. All rooms are devided into three categories: business-class rooms, improved rooms (including special rooms for the disabled), and standard. In 2003 the hotel underwent redecoration.
The cost of a rooms depends on additional services. At your request breakfast, dinner, and supper can be included in the rates. The hotel provides a 10% discount on rooms of all categories at weekends and on holidays. Children up to the age of 12 who stay in the hotel with their parents are accommodated for free. Children over the age of 12 are provided with a 50%discount when staying in a room of standard category.
The Salyut Hotel is situated close to the Yugo-Zapadnaya underground station. The hotel's location in one of the city's thoroughfares makes it possible for our guests to reach any district of the city easily: it takes 20 minutes by metro or route taxi to get to the centre, 15 minutes to the Vnukovo Airport, an hour to the Sheremetyevo Airport. In not longer than an hour you can reach the biggest exhibition complexes - the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, Expocentre, Krokus-Expo - and the Olimpiysky sports complex.
