The Tsentralnaya Hotel, located in Tverskaya Street in Moscow, will not increase in size after reconstruction: the area of the building and its height will remain the same, the chief architect of the capital, Alexander Kuzmin, said.
According to him, the building, which is a monument of architecture, is under restoration, but it will not change its historic appearance after the reconstaruction. Besides, the renovated hotel will not change the historically existing appearance of Tverskaya Street since the project includes the restoration of not only the interior, but also the historic facades.
Let us remind that the Tsentralnaya Hotel on 11 Tverskaya Street will open after restoration in 2011 under the management of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The hotel will have 237 rooms.
