The company Hilton Hotels Corporation has opened a hotel in Moscow called Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya. According to the company's announcement, it is the first of the three brands of Hilton family, which are planned to be opened in Russia this year.
Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya, which is owned by Sadko Hotel Company, will be managed under a franchise agreement with Hilton on behalf of the owner, Sadko Hotel. Interstate Hotels & Resorts is a subsidiary company that acts as the operator. The hotel offers 273 rooms, which are located on 8 floors, including 39 entertainment rooms.
According to Wolfgang Newman, the President of Hilton Hotels in Europe, Hilton Hotels Corporation plans to open more than 70 hotels of Hilton family across the whole of Russia in the next 10 years. His words were contained in the company's announcement.
Interstate Hotels & Resorts has a share capital of 55 hotels and resorts, including seven assets, which the company owns completely. In total, the company and its subsidiaries operate 222 hotels with more than 46,000 rooms in 36 states and the District of Columbia in the United States, Russia, Mexico, Belgium, Canada and Ireland. In the company's management plans, there are 15 hotels (3,550 rooms), which are under construction or reconstruction.
