A real five star hotel will be built under Frank Gehry's project
A five star hotel being designed by an American architect Frank Gehry will be built at Sadovo-Samotechnoy street in Moscow, near the Tsvetnoy Bulvar metro station.
The 17-storey hotel that is designed in the form of a pyramid, is meant for 180 rooms, with its windows facing the city park. The building facade is intended to be designed in light and warm colours: a typical of the "Stalinist" high-rise. There will be a platform at the main entrance of the hotel for entrance and brief parking of car. It will be connected with a main road to Volkonsky lane and Sadovo-Samotechnoy street.
Frank Gehry is an American architect and the owner of a bureau in Los Angeles, which was opened in 1967. Some of the most famous buildings designed by Gehry are the Frederick Weisman museum in Minneapolis, the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao made of titanium, the Walt Disney concert hall in Los Angeles and the "Dancing House" in Prague.
