Moscow authorities have delisted 10 companies planning to build 15 hotels in the city from the hotels development plan. Among the delisted companies are Inteko and Oleg Deripaska's Verin Vel, European Technologies and Services that owned Transvaal Park. Most of these companies were accredited by the Moscow Government and several years ago had obtained land lots to build hotels, says the source close to the Moscow City Hall. The Moscow Control Office found a violation here and will now open a bid to award a right to construct 13 of the 15 hotels affected by the delisting.
It is noteworthy that Inteko was going to build 3 three-star hotels: One on Leningrad Highway, a business hotel on Prospekt Mira, and a conference hotel in Nagatinsky Zaton. Verin Vel, Ltd., planned to build an apartment hotel on Lev Tolstoy Street and Znamenka Street, while Ruvenchur Fund was going to build a hotel ?t the NATI Train Station.
At this point it is unclear who will compensate the delisted companies for the preliminary documentation work they did.
