Moscow hotels
During the next two years Moscow is going to build hotels with the total capacity of 80 000 bedspaces. This was reported by the head of the Moscow Committee of Tourism Grigory Antyufeyev at a press-conference on Thursday.
According to Antyufeyev, by 2010 it is planned to build 30 hotels in the capital. Most of them will be three-star hotels. "It is these hotels that are in demand by most of the tourists," said G. Antyufeyev.
Presently more than 200 hotels that can accommodate more than 70 000 people operate in Moscow. G. Antyufeyev noted that given the constantly growing inflow of tourists, this number of rooms is insufficient.
