The Reconstruction of Baltschug Kempinski Hotel will take 3 years
 At the end of the year Moscow's oldest five-star hotel is planned to undergo capital renovation which will last for three years. According to Gianni Van Daalen, managing director of the hotel, reconstruction work is to cover the whole infrastructure, but in spite of the project's scale, the hotel won't stop receiving guests.
Phase 1 of reconstruction involves modernization of the rooms facing the Kremlin, then the reconstruction of bars, restaurants, and public access areas starts. Finally, renovation will touch the rest of the rooms and the SPA center. The overall cost estimates ?30 million, Vechernyaya Moskva reports with references to Interfax.
Baltschug Kempinski Hotel, which confronts the Kremlin, opened its doors in 1992, and was the first luxury hotel in Moscow, and the first Russian hotel to enter The Leading Hotels of the World list. The hotel offers 230 rooms, including 30 suites. The interiors of the hotel are designed by top European designers.
