Ten Of The Least Expensive Hotels In Moscow



Moscow in Russia has become quite the place for tourists. Over 4 million tourists visit Moscow annually and lately there has been an emphasis placed on tearing down less expensive hotels to build huge luxury hotels that are out of the price range of many standard tourists. Contrary to popular belief there are reasonably priced hotels in Moscow and this is a list of ten of them. Remember that you should always plan your vacation to Moscow very carefully especially if you may be on somewhat of a budget. Expenses can get out of hand in a place like Moscow and you don’t want your hotel to spring any surprises on you. Always consult a travel professional to help you make your plans when getting ready to book your vacation to Moscow.

MAXIMA HOTEL IRBIS. The Irbis is about 500 meters from the nearest metro station and a little under 10 miles outside of Red Square. It is located in a very peaceful area and offers a complimentary newspaper and wireless internet access.

MAXIMA ZARYA. The Zarya is within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens and also is within 500 meters of the metro stop. They offer what they call “Westernised” facilities and they do offer multi lingual clerks and managers.

MAXIMA SLAVIA. The Slavia is within 4 kilometers of the All Russian Exhibition Center. They also offer a sauna and wireless internet service.

HOTEL BEGA. The Bega is located less than one kilometer from Moscows famous Tverskaya Street and also a few kilometers from Red Square. This is a tall hotel that is 11 stories high and can offer you a room with quite a view for the price.

HOTEL UKRAINA. This one is worth the money. It is a magnificent looking hotel and it is also 31 stories tall. It is within walking distance of the Government Building and is full of style.

BEST EASTERN ZVEZDN. This one is a little less than 4 meters from the center of Moscow and offers access to a jogging track for those that want to get a little run in while they are on vacation. It also has a concierge desk which is nice for a moderately priced hotel.

HOTEL BUDAPEST. This one gets up there in price a little bit but it is still a great value for a great hotel. This is in the center of Moscow and the building itself is fantastic with its 19th century look and its old world feel.

BEST EASTERN VOSTOK HOTEL. This is a great budget hotel. The accommodations are clean and it is within walking distance of the Botanical Gardens. This one is hard to beat for the price they charge.

AEROTEL DOMODEDOVO HOTEL. This is a hotel where most of the guests are staying for short stays or they work for the airlines. You never know what kinds of deals you may find in a hotel like this.

AIRPORT SHEREMETYEVO HOTEL. This is another hotel used by the airlines and for those making quick stays in Moscow. They do not seem to be as able to accommodate English speaking guests but they seem to be an ideal place for a quick business meeting.
